Having finished lunch, we found our bags and rooms, unpacked in a frenzy and set out for our first activities.
Problem Solving, Abseiling and Zip Wire proved a hit with the children and we were really proud of them. They overcame their fears and everyone challenged themselves in some way or other!
Team work and encouragement was the order of the day and it was great to see the children investing in each other's experiences.
The eagerly anticipated event of dinner followed an action-packed afternoon and RGS filled their boots!
To round off the day, Wacky Races were held in the Barn and the children charged around just a little bit more, before getting ready for a bed time story. We all wished each other a 'goodnight', not forgetting the much missed Samuel.
All teeth cleaned, some faces washed (!) a final trip to the loo (or two!) and it was lights out for a bunch of very happy children.
